Jelena Laban Actriz

Passionate about acting and cinema. On screen, she stars in feature films The Deluge (Potop) and Otter (Vidra). Recently, she has further honed her screen acting skills at the International Screen Acting Workshop at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg and the One Minute Monologue workshop in Tirana.

Her theater career is marked by collaborations with acclaimed directors such as Jernej Lorenci, Tomi Janežič, and Andraš Urban. For her performance in Urban's Kapital, she was honored with the Best Young Actress Award at the "Teatar na raskršću" Festival. Her international recognition includes the Grand Prix at the "Soloviov Art" festival in Kiev and first place in the Actor’s Voice category in Sochi, Russia.

A musician at heart, she plays the piano and sings, and is a member of the Montenegrin punk band Pojačano prisustvo. She is a language enthusiast, fluent in English, alongside her native Montenegrin, Serbian, Croatian, and Bosnian, besides basic knowledge of Russian, is currently attending an intensive Italian course.

She seeks depth and is brave, but also keeps a touch of that childish spark alive. Loves music, dancing, food, and people, and is excited to see what the future holds.
