Lara Peer is a Berlin-based actor with a background in both film and theatre. Originally from South Tyrol, the German-speaking part of Italy, she has performed in numerous short films and stage productions. Recently, she wrote and performed a 30-minute solo show, playing 11 distinct characters, being praised for her range and captivating stage presence.
Lara holds a bachelor’s degree in screen acting from the Catalyst Institute for Creative Arts, where she deepened her understanding of different acting techniques such as Chekhov, Meisner and Stanislavski. During her studies, she explored the art of comedy sketches, building on her improv skills and enhancing her character work.
In 2025 she completed a 5-month intensive course in musical theatre at the Stage School in Hamburg. Her theatre credits include leading roles in musical productions, such as The Extravagant Flauntings of Marie Antoinette and an adaptation of Dear Evan Hansen.
Lara is drawn to character-driven coming-of-age stories and has a weak spot for dramatic romances.
Beyond acting, she has a strong passion for voice acting, plays the guitar, and has been rock climbing since childhood.
