Vicky Catalano Actriz, Actriz de doblaje
Vicky, actress, theater passionate from an early age, she studied English and spanish, at the Faculty of Letters and Philosophy, La Sapienza in ROME, where she studied English literature and Shakespearian plays in its stage performances and its cinematographic transpositions with the Profesor Isabella Imperiali. She presented as an experimental thesis, the translation for the first time, from Italian into Spanish of the film "I giorni dell'abbandono" by Roberto Faenza. She completed her studies and specialized in Marketing Management at the European Institute of Economics, ESE London.
At the age of 4, her first role in a comedy at Loreto theatre in Reggio Calabria and followed her mother, who was then the protagonist of an important theater company in the Reggio area, and thus fed, every day, her passion and love for the theater.
She followed a great acting coach, Giovanni Battista Diotajuti to ROME, who was not only a master of theatre but also of life.
She trained at Theatre academy in Rome "La Scaletta" directed by Gianni Diotajuti and with the participation of important teachers such as Mirella Bordoni of the Experimental Centre of Cinematography and Antonietta Franceschi professor of History of Musical Theatre and Musical Dramaturgy of the Luigi Cherubini Conservatory of Florence, graduating in 2011.
She also joined the Audition Masterclass for professional actors at the Accademia d'Arte Drammatica Silvio D’amico in Rome, followed by casting directors like Rita Forzano and Pino Pellegrino.
She studies abroad, where speaking English and Spanish enriches her artistic training with international coaches such as Doris Hicks from the actors studio of Susan Butson NYC, Michael Margotta with the seminar of Training and Script Analysis, and Jorgelina De Pretis in a Acting and Training workshop.
She attended a dubbing work shop for two years with Francesca Bertuccioli.
She continued her training with Beatrice Bracco at the Teatro Blu in Rome.
Vicky loves dancing, in particular the latin dance.
In 2012, always driven by the desire to work, he founded the "Compagnia Teatro delle Follie", producing shows and at the same time giving the opportunity to other colleagues to stage their shows.
In 2017 she acquired the management of the "Cyrano Theatre" in Rome with 380 seats in the Vatican area and 5,200 attendances in ten months of work, but with great regret leaves for urban problems.
Vicky, thanks also to the different experiences of studies abroad, develops an excellent interpersonal ability towards multicultural environments and a creative passion in the development of new ideas. For this reason she works on new projects ranging from theatre to audiovisual productions, collaborating with Yeoman_adv, a communication agency.
